The Academy Canada Alumni Association

Academy Canada is very proud of its graduates!

In an effort to track their progress and keep in touch as they build rewarding careers all over the world, Academy Canada has launched its first-ever Alumni Chapter. The goal is to unite Academy Canada Alumni in an active association to share stories, build a support network, link career opportunities and contribute to the on-going improvement of the College and its programs.

Founded in 2002 by Principal James Loder and Academy Canada graduates Janice Simms, Tammy MacIssac and Beverley Andrews, the Alumni Association plans to:

1. Maintain a contact database of College graduates from each program offered at the St. John's, Corner Brook, Grand Falls-Windsor, Marystown and Springdale, Twillingate, Triton campuses since 1984.
2. Distribute a newsletter three times per year updating alumni on College events, graduate accomplishments, special course offerings and employment opportunities.
3. Host an annual Alumni Bar-B-Q and Reunion that brings members together for a day of fun, networking and great food.
4. Offer Alumni discounts for graduates taking part in Continuing Education training courses.
5. Request Alumni feedback by asking them to sit on various Advisory Groups.
6. Notify graduates electronically about employment opportunities posted internally or with our Employment Coordinators.

We are now actively seeking graduates to join our Alumni Association. There is no cost to join!
