Academy Canada Community Nominated for 2011 Corner Brook Sustainability Awards

Academy Canada Career College is pleased to announce that we are nominated for the 2011 Corner Brook Sustainability Awards for "Excellence in Business", "Community Impact", "Customer Service", and "Innovation" categories.

Our Webmaster, Jack Barrett (listed as Jackie Barrett), is also nominated for the "Male Athlete Award" category.

Corner Brook Sustainability Awards winners will be announced on May 18, 2011.

25th Anniversary Scavenger Hunt

To celebrate Academy Canada's 25th Anniversary, the Corner Brook Campus is holding various events this week.

On February 28, 2011, the campus had a scavenger hunt with four participating teams including Adult Basic Education, Massage Therapy (2 teams), and Hairstylists.

They had a long list of items to find and only an hour to find them.

Our scavenger hunt winners are the Hairstylists team. The two Massage Therapy teams are the runner-ups.

The Hairstylist team members are awarded a $50.00 gift certificate from Walmart, and the two Massage Therapy teams are awarded a Pizza Party.

Congratulations to all participants.
