Medical Laboratory Assistant Students Tour Western Memorial Regional Hospital

Academy Canada was pleased to partner with Western Health and Western Memorial Regional Hospital. They recently provided our Medical Laboratory Assistant students with their laboratory facilities tour.

On October 21, 2010, Western Memorial Regional Hospital hosted a tour of the many departments within their labs. Lead Technicians displayed the work they complete from day to day.

Eleven Medical Laboratory Assistant students participated in the tour, giving them perspective and understanding about their program, and insight into working in a laboratory environment.

Three previous Medical Laboratory Assistant graduates, Brock Gale, Lillian Wells Keough, and Sherri Snook are pleased to call Western Health their employer.

Western Health recognizes our graduates as being knowledgeable in their field. The treated our students with great respect.

Academy Canada students found the tour very educational. They thank Western Health and Western Memorial Regional Hospital for giving them an opportunity to tour their facilities.
