Academy Canada Nominated For City of Corner Brook "Achievement in Community Excellence" (ACE) Awards

Academy Canada is pleased to announced that we are nominated for Corner Brook's "Achievement in Community Excellence" (ACE) awards.

Academy Canada Webmaster, Jack Barrett, is nominated for "Male Athlete of the Year" award category. Jack represented Canada as a Powerlifter at the 2011 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Athens, Greece. He won three gold medals in the Squat, Deadlift, and overall events, a silver medal in the Bench Press event, and set a Special Olympics World Squat record. The City of Corner Brook also declared November 8, 2011 as "Jackie Barrett Day".

"Crystal Water Boat Tours" Owner and Corner Brook Campus Admissions Officer, Kristofer Reid, is nominated for "Business Excellence" award category.

Academy Canada is nominated for the "Community and Customer Impact" award category for our commitment to community involvement and strong customer service.
