High School Graduates or
Equivalent
All potential students should have a High school Graduation
Diploma or equivalent. Students must complete an application
form (link: apply now) and provide a copy of High School,
Adult Basic Education or GED results. If you choice
to apply on line you must forward all paper documents
to the address provided on our application form.
Mature Students (Students
enrolling without High School Completion)
Mature students are eligible for admission into all
of Academy Canada's Educational Programs, however each
case is reviewed individually. These students must be
19 years of age or older, complete an application form,
provide a copy of most recent marks and must write a
Canadian Adult Achievement Test. This information will
be reviewed and a decision will be made.
International Students
International Students applying to study at Academy
Canada must have a High School Diploma or provide proof
of their academic standing equivalent to the Newfoundland
and Labrador High School Diploma. Certain programs require
achievement in specific areas such as Mathematics, English
Language, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology; therefore
transcripts will be assessed on an individual basis.
Once our administrative staff receives all appropriate
documents and fees, the information will be carefully
reviewed and a decision will be made in 3 business days.
International students applying for direct admission
into Academy Canada's traditional programs from countries
where English is not the first language, require a TOEFL
(Test of English as a Foreign Language) or equivalent
test. A score of 550 is required.
