Program Description
The Esthetics and Spa Management with Electrolysis program was developed to equip individuals for employment in the ever growing field of esthetics and spa management. Students will gain skills and experience in a variety of services provided by estheticians, including nail technology, skin care, manicures and pedicures, make-up artistry, facials, and spa management. An overview of business management skills for both salons and spas will be covered.
The Esthetics and Spa Management with Electrolysis program is also designed to provide the esthetician with enhanced hair removal processes through the use of electrolysis. It will provide the student with a complete and comprehensive understanding of the biological causes of unwanted hair growth. The student will be able to make a practical analysis of the type of hair and skin which will help to identify various disorders that may cause hair growth and in turn determine the strategy for treatment to offer the client.
