Network Administration
Duration: 2 semesters plus 4 week work term
Program Description
The Network Administration program is designed to provide individuals who currently have experience/education in the computer industry with the opportunity to develop and enhance their skills as Network Administrators. This program allows graduates to provide on-site support for users for the Windows Server 2003 networking platform. This program includes all the courses necessary for MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) certification, one of the most valued certifications available in the Information Technology industry today. MCSA examinations area administered independently from any school or campus.

Employment Opportunities
Upon successful completion, graduates from the Network Administration program are qualified to work in a variety of areas in the Information Technology sector. In particular, graduates may be qualified (depending on specific hiring practices) for employment as network administrators.
Entrance Requirements
Specific Entrance Requirements
A minimum of two years combined training and experience in a related Information Technology field.
High School Graduates or Equivalent
High School Graduates or equivalent are eligible for admission to the Network Administration program. Students must complete an application form and provide a copy of High School, Adult Basic Education or G.E.D. results. Under certain circumstances students who do not complete the formal High School requirements may be accepted upon the recommendation of a High School Principal or Guidance Counsellor. Mature Students
Mature Students are eligible for admission to the Network Administration program. These students must be at least 19 years of age, complete an application form, provide a copy of recent marks and write a Canadian Adult Achievement Test, arranged by Academy Canada.
