The Supply Chain and Logistics program provides students with a well-rounded exposure to the international supply chain and the skills needed to be successful in the industry. Students will develop proficiencies appropriate for a wide range of careers in supply chain and logistics.

Graduates will have developed essential skills needed to succeed in a role that requires attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem solving.

Career Opportunities

The Supply Chain and Logistics program will qualify grads to pursue positions such as Logistics Coordinator, Dispatcher, Warehouse Associate Supervisor, Purchasing Agent, Billing Agent, Materials Management Analyst, Scheduler, Loss Prevention Agent, Cargo and Freight Agent or Customs Broker.

CERTIFICATIONS

Successful graduates of the program who meet the requirements outlined by the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) will achieve a Certificate in International Freight Forwarding. The certificate is nationally recognized within the international transportation and international trade logistics industries.

Admission Requirements

High School Graduates or Equivalent

High School Graduates or equivalent are eligible for admission to the SCL program. Students must complete an application form and provide a copy of High School, Adult Basic Education, or G.E.D. results. Under certain circumstances, students who do not meet the formal High School requirements may be accepted upon the recommendation of a High School Principal or Guidance Counsellor. Mature Students

Mature students are eligible for admission to the SCL program. These students must be 19 years of age or older, complete an application form, provide a copy of most recent marks, and write a Canadian Adult Achievement Test (CAAT) as arranged by Academy Canada.
