Corner Brook Campus Principal, Colin Burridge, Turns Fly Tying Into An Art

Corner Brook Campus Principal, Colin Burridge, is featured on a CBC Newfoundland and Labrador news article entitled "Flytier's fast-paced footage creating buzz".

As a Fly Fishing enthusiast, Colin is turning a passion for Salmon Fly Fishing into an exciting art of fly tying.

According to Colin, "Catching fish on your own flies certainly adds an extra level of satisfaction,"

"Fly tying itself is something that has always been sort of mysterious and interesting. For a lot of folks, including myself, it is just a way to decompress after a busy day."

His hobby is even generating a lot of attention on his Facebook page, including over 5,000 views so far and counting.

After videotaping himself creating a fly in order to improve his technique, Burridge realized that with a bit of tweaking, other enthusiasts might find the recordings useful. His are not the standard, 15-minute-long instructional variety.
