Greg Hall Named To Team Newfoundland and Labrador For The "2012 Special Olympics Canada Winter Games

Academy Canada staff member, Greg Hall, has been named to Team Newfoundland and Labrador for the 2012 Special Olympics Canada Winter Games.

This event will be held from February 28, 2012 to March 3, 2012 in St. Albert, Alberta.

Greg will be participating in the 100 metre and 200 metre Snowshoeing races.

Greg is a Special Olympics member for 14 years. He competed at the Special Olympics Newfoundland and Labrador Winter and Summer Games in Athletics, 5 Pin Bowling, and Snowshoeing.

He won 100 metre and 200 metre Snowshoeing event gold medals at the 2011 Special Olympics Newfoundland and Labrador Winter Games in Corner Brook

Academy Canada wishes Greg Hall all the best at the upcoming 2012 Special Olympics Canada Winter Games.

About the 2012 Special Olympics Canada Winter Games

The 2012 Special Olympics Canada will be held from February 28, 2012 to March 3, 2012 in the St. Albert, Marmot Basin, and Edmonton.

Special Olympians will compete in seven events including Alpine Skiing, Nordic Skiing, Curling, Figure Skating, Floor Hockey, Snowshoeing, and Speed Skating.

This event serves as a qualifier for the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
