Corner Brook Campus Therapeutic Recreation students hosted their first Snowflake Dinner.

This event provided a comfortable evening out with dinner and entertainment for seniors in the community who may not have this opportunity.

Chef Frank Diamond’s Culinary Arts students prepared a delicious meal, which the guests raved about for the rest of the evening.

Invited guests included Western Health Protective Community residents along with their Recreation Therapist, Janice Fillatre, and Personal Care Assistant worker, Kim Reid-Dowding.

Local entertainer, Henry Pinhorn, provided a lively atmosphere with his musical talents. Seniors danced and enjoyed the music all evening.

Therapeutic Recreation students plan to make the “Snowflake Dinner” an annual event.
