Business Administration Graduate, Melissa Woods, Starts “Active Living West NL”

Business Administration Graduate, Melissa Woods, is launching a new organization called “Active Living West NL”, geared towards providing recreational and social activities for persons with physical and intellectual disabilities.

Melissa is determined not to let life’s challenges get in her way, including her desire to help others with disabilities.

“Active Living NL West” current provides cooking classes at the Sobey’s Community Room on Friday. Melissa also envisions an exercise component that could involve outings to the gym, going for walks, or swimming.

Academy Canada graduates Melissa for starting her venture as well as helping others with disabilities having a better quality of life.
