On May 5, 2021, Cabot Ford graciously donated a red Ford F-150 truck to Academy Canada for our Automotive Service Technician program.

According to Vice President Academic and Chief Operating Officer, Lisa Lovelady, the truck will be put to good use for hands-on teaching and learning activities in our Automotive Service Technician program.

This donation is a win-win as students benefit from learning opportunities and the automotive industry gains access to highly-skilled, work-ready graduates and prospective hires.

Ford is not only donating a truck, they are also giving our students access to their online Automotive Career Exploration training that aims to raise awareness and increase interest in career opportunities in the field.

Academy Canada thanks Ford for their gracious donations and helping our Automotive Service Technician gain the skills needed to compete in today’s rapidly changing automotive sector.
