Academy Canada and Eastern Academy Webmaster has made it to one of Canada’s most well known web based encyclopedia’s, “The Canadian Encyclopedia”, for his athletic, academic, and personal accomplishments that inspires Canadians with intellectual and developmental disabilities to believe that anything is possible.

Former Special Olympics Powerlifter, Jack Barrett, has made it to “The Canadian Encyclopedia” for his legendary accomplishments outside and inside the sporting arena.

Jack is a former Special Olympics Powerlifter whom competed for Canada at the 1999, 2007, 2011, and 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games, amassing a total of 13 gold and 2 silver medals in these four events.

He also set three Special Olympics World Games records at the 2015 Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles.
