On the June 4, 2026 edition of Atlantic Salmon Federation website’s “Rivernotes” article, Corner Brook Campus Principal and avid Recreational Salmon Fisherman, Colin Burridge, talks about an amazing experience Salmon Fishing along the Southwest River on the Burgeo Highway.

Colin also talks about how he used a fly named after this Father, the Carter Special, to catch his first salmon of the 2026 season.
