Happy Early Childhood Education Week!

Academy Canada, a leader among trade schools in Newfoundland, is shining a light on the importance of early learning. Our online early childhood education program empowers students to become compassionate educators. This week, we’re sharing what inspires them.

Meet Carla S.

Carla is a first-year ECE student from Baie Verte, NL. She didn’t know she had a passion for working with children until she had her own and spent time volunteering at school and in her community. She enjoys being creative and providing fun, wholesome activities, and opportunities for the children to learn and develop. In her free time, she enjoys exploring outdoors with her family and volunteering with her local Girl Guide Unit – she says it is a real treat to spend time with the girls each week!
