Early Childhood Education Student Spotlight
Happy Early Childhood Education Week!
Early Childhood Education week is celebrated annually in May. Research in child development supports the value and importance of Early Childhood Education in society, and this week acknowledges the contributions made by Early Childhood Educators in Newfoundland and Labrador. To celebrate the occasion, Academy Canada is spotlighting some current ECE students and sharing what they love about their field.
Meet Amber M.
Amber is a first-year ECE student from St. John’s, NL. Her favourite thing about being an ECE student is learning new and fascinating information about children. She is excited to put everything she is learning into action and wants nothing but the best for the children she teaches. In her free time, Amber loves spending time in nature, painting and using her own imagination to express herself through art.
“There’s truly nothing better than getting to spend time with tiny humans with their extraordinary and imaginative brains. Getting to watch their accomplishments as they learn and grow is so rewarding.” – Amber
