Academy Canada Alumni Profile – Sandra Lee Layden

Sandra Lee Layden describes herself as “a daydreamer, a music lover, a free spirit, a traveller and an open soul”.

She is also an incredibly talented and successful Newfoundland-born photographer.

Sandra Lee graduated from Academy Canada with a Diploma of Applied Arts in Photographic Studies in 2007 and has since built an award-winning business photographing weddings, families…and world-famous musicians!

In her music photography, she draws inspiration from old-school rock and roll photographers and has captured artists like Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, and Shawn Mendes in her signature black-and-white style.
