Academy Canada Therapeutic Recreation Students Win “Recreation Newfoundland and Labrador” Scholarships

Academy Canada “Therapeutic Recreation” students, Shawna Young and Chelsea Brake, win Recreation Newfoundland and Labrador “Kevin Waterman Student Scholarship”.

Recreation Newfoundland and Labrador offers the “Kevin Waterman Student Scholarship”, valued at $500 each, to recognize “students enrolled in a recreation undergraduate program who have made significant contributions to recreation through volunteer activities, work experience and academic studies”.

Formal presentation was held at Recreation Newfoundland and Labrador’s “Annual Awards Banquet” in Gander on May 12, 2018.
