Program Description

The 9-month Construction/Industrial Electrician (Entry) Diploma program is a provincially-accredited apprenticeship program that was developed by government and approved by the Provincial Apprenticeship and Certification Board. The program provides students with a wide range of skills that are needed to work as a certified first-year apprentice in either the construction or industrial sector. Some of the course you will do include safety, single- and three-phase theory, blueprint reading, conduit, tubing and fittings, wiring, fire alarms and security systems, transformers, single phase service entrance, heating systems and many others. Most courses are designed in such a way that students spend time divided equally between the classroom and one of our electrical shops.
