Meet Chontell!

Chontell is a Safety Project Coordinator for SafetyDataNet. Chontell is originally from Paradise, Newfoundland and now works virtually from Calgary, Alberta as well as attending sites in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.

Chontell graduated with honours from the Occupational Health and Safety program at Academy Canada in 2012 and recently received her Internal AASP Auditor Certification in 2014. Congratulations Chontell! Chontell works in many different sectors including, but not limited to: Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Engineering, Servicing and Aviation. She manages clients’ safety programs virtually via our online Safety Management System and manage their safety programs in an effort to successfully maintain or achieve COR/SECOR status via Safety Program Audits.

Chontell is the active supervisor of our other Safety Administrators. This means that with a strong team approach, many members of our team are effectively managing your safety program on a regular basis.

Chontell loves her job here at SafetyDataNet and offers the following words of advice:

Put your best foot forward in everything that you do, and don’t ever give up.

Don’t be afraid to be aggressive to achieve what you want, if you’re passionate about it and really believe in yourself. Nobody will believe in you, if you don’t believe in yourself.

When you find a job, remember that Customer Service is absolutely, without a doubt, paramount.
