Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist students raise money for SPCA

In December 2010, Kenmount Road Campus Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist students got together and came up with ideas to raise money for St. John’s area animal shelters.

Their fundraising activities include selling a dip mix product, collect recyclables, and receive cash donations from staff and students with proceeds going to the local SPCA.

Throughout December 2010, Robyn Hanames, Nancy Hoskins, Ashley Maher, Krista Jacobs, Sara Parsons, and their Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist Instructor, Jill Porter, raised over $300.00.

This is an ongoing fundraising effort and they hope to raise money for Greater St. John’s area animal shelters.
