Welcome to the New Academic Year – Letter from the President

Dear Academy Canada Community,

As we begin a new academic year, I want to extend a warm welcome to all our students, instructors, and staff—both those returning and those joining us for the first time. A new school year brings with it excitement, possibility, and tremendous opportunity. I am so proud to share this journey with you.

Our learning community demonstrates the dedication, passion, and resilience that make Academy Canada such a special place. Whether in our classrooms, labs, or through community partnerships, the commitment to excellence and care for one another is evident everywhere.

As we look ahead, our focus remains clear: to ensure that every student who entrusts us with their education is supported, challenged, and inspired to achieve their fullest potential. Together, we will continue to strengthen our programs, embrace innovation, and create a welcoming environment where diversity, equity, inclusion, and reconciliation are not just words, but lived values.

This year, I am especially excited about the opportunities before us—to deepen our industry partnerships, expand pathways for lifelong learning, and explore new ways technology can enhance student-centred teaching. None of this is possible without the unwavering dedication of our instructors and staff, or without the energy and determination of our students.

To our new students: welcome—you are joining a community that believes in you and is invested in your success. To our returning students: thank you again for choosing Academy Canada — we are honoured to support you as you continue your journey. To our staff and instructors: your passion and professionalism are the heart of this college, and I am grateful to work alongside you.
